A laugh filled journey into a world that allows you to see.
It’s said that most people go through their entire lives with blinders on. In the case of Daniel Swintton, a high level Kelly, Green and Associates executive, this was almost true. However, a freak accident while on vacation causes the blinders to be, literally, lifted from his eyes. Now, the fun begins.
Blinders, takes you on a fanciful journey into the world of a man that can see it all. In the light of truth, Daniel sees the beauty of Desire, the cunning of Feminine, and the light heartedness of Joy. He also sees the darkness of Greed, the face of Depression, and the green eyes of Envy, just to name a few. The only problem is, he sees them all, in person.
The figures that appear and interact with people on a daily basis, now come into plain view, when the light of truth shines in Daniel’s uncovered eyes. He sees the sexy, seductive figure of Desire, which follows his secretary into his office. He also, sees the fat, bloated figure of Munch, which sits at the front desk with the receptionists, as they snack unceasingly on their bag of goodies. In addition, much to his dismay, he encounters a figure with a large nose and a smelly habit, which rides the elevator in search of victims. The Elevator Bomber, whose greatest joy, is to pass gas on the way up or down, with his captive audience.
Daniel finds that oxygen is not the only thing he longs for, as he enters the world of the enlightened and insightful. The light of truth shows all and it’s always shining, in this dark comedy, about the ability to see, that to which, some people, may prefer to remain blinded.
